Chris McDermott brings over a decade of clinical expertise, encompassing a diverse range of specialties including inpatient rehabilitation (traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury), trauma and surgical care, pulmonary and critical care, sleep medicine, and interventional pain management.
His extensive background in the personal injury field includes roles as both a treating provider and expert witness in cases related to motor vehicle collisions and other personal injury accidents. Currently, he practices at Intercoastal Health, delivering whole person care focused on injury management, wellness, and longevity.
He attended Florida State College at Jacksonville and the University of North Florida for undergraduate studies. He completed graduate school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Chris McDermott is a Certified Life Care Planner and practicing Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with Autonomous Practice (APRN-IP) authority in the State of Florida. He holds a certification in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care (AGPCNP-C) from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a certified life care planner designation (CLCP) from the International Commission on Health Care Certification. He is a professional member of Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, & American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
