Chris McDermott, MSN, APRN-IP, AGPCNP-C, CLCP

Chris McDermott has over a decade of clinical experience. His clinical background includes inpatient rehabilitation (traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury), trauma/surgery, pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. He currently practices in Interventional Pain Medicine treating patients involved in motor vehicle collisions or personal injury accidents.

He attended Florida State College at Jacksonville and the University of North Florida for undergraduate studies. He completed graduate school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Chris McDermott is a Certified Life Care Planner and practicing Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with Autonomous Practice (APRN-IP) authority in the State of Florida. He holds a certification in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care (AGPCNP-C) from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a certified life care planner designation (CLCP) from the International Commission on Health Care Certification. He is a professional member of Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals.
